In the last of the three-part series, John Szubert once again completed the Clowbridge 5k on Thursday, with a time of 28:52.
On Saturday, Scott Rosevere headed to the Lakes for the Staveley Trail Half Marathon Challenge, a 22km course with panoramic views of most of the southern Lakeland fells, completing the race in 2:46:50.
Taking place over two days, Kath Biddle completed the Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge at the weekend. Totaling 106k and circumnavigating the island over the southern cliffs, iconic Needles, and historic towns, Kath finished this impressive challenge in 15:26:20.
On Sunday, 13 from the club participated in the Swinton Running Club Five Mile Ladies Trail Race in Worsley Woods, with four bringing home category wins – Donna Cartwright (FV45) (36:57), Paula Abernathy (FV60) (39:38), Sheila Jones (FV70) (41:11) and Sheila McNulty (FV75) (1:00:38). Other results were Laura Aiken (42:31), Karen Doherty (43:53), Kathryn Davies (45:45), Alison Howarth (45:48), Charlotte Holden (46:04), Elaine Bailey (47:10), Louise Shield (47:47), Tracy Wroe (57:05) and Sara Parry (1:03:58)
Adding to an especially successful weekend for the Radcliffe ladies, junior Indie was the first female to cross the finish line at RunThrough’s Run Heaton Park junior 1.2km race on Sunday in 5:06.
John Szubert took part in the Chorley 10K, a two-lap course starting and finishing on Market Street in Chorley town centre. John finished in 1:00:18 whilst junior Isla completed the 2k fun run in 13:32.
Ahead of the Milton Keynes Marathon, Khama Banda completed the MK Rocket 5k, finishing in a time of 17:42.
