Welcome to the Home of Radcliffe Athletic Club

In the event of a runner having a safeguarding issue with any Radcliffe AC club official or fellow runner, please contact the club Welfare Officer, Louise Shield, who will direct you to the England Athletics complaints procedures.

Our aim is to provide all our members, guests and volunteers with the best possible experience and opportunities in sport within a safe and supportive environment.

As a club, our Safeguarding policies are in place to keep children and vulnerable adults safe, and to prevent harm from occurring from neglect, exploitation or abuse.

All suspicions and allegations of abuse against young or vulnerable adults will be responded to, and followed up appropriately in accordance with our Safeguarding policies and local area or statutory guidelines.

Most of our Run Leaders and all our coaching team are qualified in their field, and hold a fully enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (which has replaced the CRB check).

Radcliffe AC is affiliated to UK Athletics and we have adopted the policies as laid down by the UK Athletics (UKA) 2013:
