Radcliffe Athletic club exists to promote running in the town.
New members are always welcome whether they wish to run socially with friends,
competitively, or both.
To this end the club gives its members an annual challenge, that of getting to enough
road, fell and/or cross-country races in the club’s championship calendar to
qualify for a prize. New for 2008 take part in 3 races on the fells, 3 road races and 3 cross country races within each championship (no matter what the distances are) and you qualify for the All-Round Championship. This will work by taking your placement within a race. The more you enter, the more chance of moving up the table! Ongoing results will be shown here. During the year there are various leagues and Grand Prix's taking place from club level to regional ability covering the three main areas within the club: Fell Races, Road Races and Cross Country. The club has also ventured into relay races. Please let me know of any mistakes below and I will rectify them. Vince Ashton - Webmaster Please note: You must be a fully paid up member to qualify in League events. When the club organise a race, the priority is to ensure there are enough marshals on the day. If a Radcliffe AC member wishes to race in one of our own races, then they must supply a marshal to take his/her place at the race. The replacement person must be over 16 years of age and have experience of marshalling. Failure to do so may result in Disqualification Thank You All Round Club Championship 2008 If you have a result of a road race you ran in, whether a league race or not, let me know for inclusion in the Road Rankings 2008
