RADCLIFFE AC's Bev McGrath had perfect conditions when she took on the 31 mile Manchester Canalathon. The vet-40 was well pleased with her time of 6hrs 59mins despite some pain and blisters at the end. FIONA Lynch took to the Yorkshire moors when she ran the challenging 32 mile Haworth Hobble Fell Race. The vet-40 was third in her age group and 12th woman with a time of 5hrs 11mins after covering Pennine paths and tracks from Haworth over to Calderdale up Stoodley Pike and back via Heptonstall and Crimsworth Dean. THE club had a turnout of 27 at the Trotters 5 at Bolton with Neal Emmerson getting a top ten place. Neal clocked 31mins 11secs and was eighth out of 339 runners.
