PROVING age is no barrier Radcliffe AC president Tom West celebrated his 75th birthday by doing a 5k race. The keen runner took on the Central Lancashire 5k at Bolton on Sunday clocking a time of 31mins 46secs and then enjoyed a birthday cake with clubmates to mark the occasion. FOUR Radcliffe AC women who took up a challenge to run every day in January have raised £450 for charity. Fiona Lynch, Chemaine Brier, Sinead Hayes and Carly Rourke decided to organise their challenge by running their own distances each day for the whole month.
